To ensure the best dehumidification experience, GoveeLife recommends keeping the dehumidifier off for 15 minutes after the first Wi-Fi connection and re-powering it to update the firmware to version 1.00.20. The dehumidifiers have a working temperature range of 41°F to 94°F and a working humidity range of 0% to 95% RH. They require at least 8 inches of space on all sides and 16 inches on the top for proper air circulation.

In Auto Mode, the Maintain function reduces the frequency of turning the device on and off due to ambient humidity changes, maintaining a 30-38% range after reaching the target humidity of 35% to ensure the best user experience. If the Maintain function is disabled, the device will stop when the target humidity is reached.

The smart functions of the GoveeLife dehumidifiers allow users to control them remotely via the app, including turning them on/off, adjusting the mode, setting a 24-hour timer, viewing humidity record graphs, and receiving reminders when the water tank is full.
